Foam Proportioning System - Continuous Flow

The Foam Proportioning System - Continuous Flow (FPS-CF) is a low cost, simple and reliable system for the application of Class A foam suppressants. The FPS-CF is designed to meter foam concentrate into the hose line automatically as pressure and flow change. It is designed for use on the discharge side of pumps, or between the pump and hose reel. It may be installed in-line at any convenient location along a hose lay.

Tests have shown that the Model FT-150 FPS-CF performs well with hose lays up to 1,000 feet and elevation changes of up to 200 feet. It also works very effectively when installed between the pump and hose reel on Initial Attack Vehicles.

The FPS-CF produces a wetter, low expansion foam ideal for mop-up with normal forestry nozzles. If a dryer, higher expansion foam is desired, air aspirating nozzles will give the best results.
